of Charles County, are hereby authorized to codify all Local
Laws enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland relating
to and affecting Charles County, including such as may be
passed by the General Assembly of 1918. Upon the completion
of their work and the filing of a typewritten copy thereof with
the County Commissioners of Charles County, the said County
Commissioners are hereby authorized to present the same to a
member of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1920 for
proper enactment.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That at the levy term next suc-
ceeding the passage of this Act, the County Commissioners
of said County are hereby authorized and directed to levy the
sum of Two Hundred and Fifty ($250. 00) Dollars and to pay
the same over to the said W. Mitchell Digges and Ferdinand
C. Cooksey, each One Hundred and Twenty-Five ($125. 00)
Dollars upon their filing with the said County Commissioners
and their acceptance thereof of the said codification.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1918.

CHAPTER 98.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 550 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of the session of 1916, entitled "An
Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 250
and 251 of Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title 'Harford County, ' sub-title 'Sheriff, ' and to add two
new sections to said Article 13 to be known as sections
251A and 251B, " and to re-enact Sections 250, 251, 251A
and 251B of said Chapter 550.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 550 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, session of 1916, entitled "An Act to repeal and
re-enact with amendments Sections 250 and 251 of Article 13
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Harford County, '
sub-title 'Sheriff, ' and to add two new sections to said Article
13, to be known as sections 251A and 251B, " be and the same
is hereby repealed and said sections 250, 251, 251A and 251B
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
