That any person holding license to gun for or after wild
water fowl may, during the gunning season as fixed by Section
279, be allowed to anchor, or otherwise make stationary, any
sink-box, sneak boat or any other vessel or craft on the waters
lying northward of the line named in Section 278, after 4. 30
A. M. on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, prior to the first
day of January of said gunning season; and on and after the
the first day of January on any Monday, Wednesday, Friday
or Saturday after 4. 30 A. M., and before the morning of the
day next succeeding each of the days above specified; after
4. 30 A. M. on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday prior to
the first day of January of said gunning season; and on and
after the first day of January on any Monday, Wednesday,
Friday or Saturday after 4. 30 A. M. for the purpose of pro-
curing a berth, and that any person holding a license making
stationary any sink box, sneak boat or any other vessel or craft
on the waters lying northward of the line named in Section 278,
shall be required to only display such lights or signals on
said crafts as required by the Federal Laws of the United
Spates of America governing navigation. Any person violat-
ing any of the provisions of this section shall upon convic-
tion thereof be fined not less than twenty-five ($25) dollars
and not more than one hundred dollars ($100); one-half of said
fine to be paid to the officer making the arrest and the other
half to be paid to those assisting in making the arrest; provid-
ed, further, that the Justices of the Peace of Cecil and Harford
Counties and the Circuit Courts for Harford and Cecil Coun-
ties shall have concurrent jurisdiction to try offenders for a
violation of this section without regard to the question as to
which county the offense was committed in.

CHAPTER 93.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 220
of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Caroline County, " sub-title "Sheriff. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 220 of Article 6 of Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Caroline County, " sub-title "Sheriff, "
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
