for the accused to have such complaint heard and determined
in Baltimore City, provided that any person so accused shall
have the right before such trial to order the case removed for
trial before a justice of the peace of the county in which the
alleged offense occurred. The jurisdiction, powers and duties
heretofore vested in and required of other justices of the peace
in Baltimore City under Section 158 of this sub-title shall
hereafter be exclusively vested n and required of the Justice
of the Peace of the Traffic Court. Said Justice shall keep his
office in the station-house of the Central Police District of Bal-
timore City, and shall attend at such station-house at such
hours and times as may be determined upon by the Board of
Police Commissioners and the Commissioner of Motor Ve-
hicles. Said Justice shall during his sittings at the Central
Police Station transact no other business except the business
required of him by the provisions of this sub-title. The said
Justice of the Peace of the Traffic Court (and any justice who
may be designated to sit in his absence) shall have the power
and authority to enforce obedience to his orders and judgments
by attachment and to inflict summary punishment for contempt
of court by a fine not exceeding in any one case the sum of
Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00); all of which fines shall be paid
to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles in the same manner
as other fines; and imprisonment for default in payment of
such fines shall be imposed to the same extent as in the case
of other fines; provided, however, that the power aforesaid to
punish for contempt shall not be construed to extend to any
cases arising in the Court of said Justice of the Peace of the
Traffic Court except the cases specifically set forth and provided
for in Section 4 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land as within the power of the several courts of this State to
inflict summary punishments for contempt of court.

The said Justice of the Peace of the Traffic Court, before
entering upon the duties of his office, shall give to the State of
Maryland a good and sufficient bond, with a surety or sureties
to be approved by the Judge of the Superior Court of Baltimore
City, in the penalty of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, 000) con-
