CHAPTER 11.

AN ACT to provide for the refunding and extension of the
indebtedness of the City of Crisfield, Somerset County,
Maryland, authorized under Chapter 265 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1898, under Chapter 27
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1900,
and under Chapter 98 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1910.

WHEREAS the Commissioners of Crisfield heretofore issued
bonds of the City of Crisfield, Somerset County, Maryland,
under the authority vested in it by Chapter 265 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1898, in the sum of
twenty thousand dollars, which will fall due in 1919; and

WHEREAS the Commissioners of Crisfield heretofore issued
bonds of the City of Crisfield under the authority vested in it
by Chapter 27 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1900 in the sum of twelve thousand dollars, of which
six thousand dollars has been redeemed and of which six thou-
sand dollars will fall due in 1920; and

WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of Crisfield, the successors
of the Commissioners of Crisfield, heretofore issued bonds of

the said City of Crisfield under the authority vested in it by
Chapter 98 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1910, in
the sum of twenty thousand dollars, of which ten thousand
dollars has been redeemed, and of which ten thousand dollars
will fall due in 1920; and

WHEREAS it is desirable and to the interest of the said City
of Crisfield that the said bonds be refunded, the time of pay-
ment extended and. new bonds issued.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purpose of redeeming and the extension of
the time of payment of twenty thousand dollars of the bonds
issued by the Commissioners of Crisfield, under Chapter 265
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1898,
which fall due in 1919, for the purpose of redeeming and the
extension of the time of payment of six thousand dollars of
the bonds issued by the Commissioners of Crisfield under
Chapter 27 of ther Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1900, which fall due in 1920, and for the purpose of re-
deeming and the extension of the time of payment of ten
