taxes and interest due thereon, with a notice and warning to
said delinquent thereto attached, that unless payment be made
in full within thirty days from the delivery of said notice, the
same will be collected by process of law; and the said collector
may at any time after the first day of November proceed to
seize, levy upon and sell the property of said delinquent, or so
much thereof as may be necessary to pay said taxes with inter-
est and costs, thereon, and on the first day of December of
each year the collector shall immediately proceed to collect all
unpaid tax bills by seizing, levying upon, advertising and
selling said property, or so much thereof as may be necessary
to pay said taxes, together with interest charges and costs of
sale, and for this purpose the said collector is hereby clothed
with all the powers possessed by collectors of taxes under the
Code of Public General Laws.

CHAPTER 9.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 199
of Article 15 of the Code of Public Laws of Maryland, title
"Kent County, " sub-title "Sheriff, " as repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter 288 of the Acts of 1890 and this as
repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 272 of the Acts of 1910.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 199 of Article 15 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Kent County, " sub-
title "Sheriff, " as repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 288 of
the Acts of 1890 and repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 272
of the Acts of 1910, be repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments so as to read as follows:
Section 199. The Sheriff of Kent County shall be entitled
to receive a sum not exceeding Sixty-five (65) Cents a day for
boarding and keeping each prisoner committed to his custody,
and the said Sheriff is hereby required to keep a book at the
jail, which he shall procure for the purpose, in which he shall
record the name of each prisoner committed to his custody, and
by that authority the time when received, and the offence
charged, and also the date of his discharge, which book shall
be open to the inspection of the County Commissioners, State's
