the hundred dollars, in any one year, in addition to the levy of
fifty cents on the hundred dollars now authorized by law, and
to have the same powers in the collection of such additional
sum. as they may levy, as they now possess.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That at the next regular elec-
tion of the Commissioners of Chestertown there shall be sub-
mitted to the qualified voters of Chestertown whether an addi-
tional levy of twenty cents on the hundred dollars on the assess-
able property in Chestertown shall be authorized; and that at
such election the ballots cast upon said election shall have the
words "For Additional Levy" or "Against Additional Levy, "
thereon; and if a majority of the votes cast upon such question
shall be "For Additional Levy, " then Section 65B, as above
enacted, shall become in force and effect, but if the majority
of the votes cast shall be against "Additional Levy" then 65B
shall be of no effect.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1918.

CHAPTER 64.

AN ACT to amend Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of the State of Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-title
"Chesapeake City, " by adding three additional sections
thereto, providing for Bonding the Town of Chesapeake City
to provide for the construction of street and highways in
said Town and other municipal improvements at the dis-
cretion of the President and Commissioners of said Town,
and to submit the question of issuing said Bonds to the vote
of the legally qualified voters of said Town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-title "Chesapeake City, "
be and the same is hereby amended, by adding three additional
sections thereto, to be known as Sections 102, 103 and 104,
providing for the issuing of Bonds to pay for improvements to
the streets of Chesapeake City and other municipal improve-
ments.
