SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is an
emergency law necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health, and being passed upon a yea and nay vote
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
branch of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 37.
AN ACT to repeal all public general and local laws providing
for seasons for shooting squirrels in St. Mary's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all public general and local laws providing
for seasons for shooting squirrels in St. Mary's County be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public safety, and being passed upon
a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assem-
bly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 38.
AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an additional Jus-
tice of the Peace, for the Fourth Election District, of Anne
Arundel County, Maryland, to be designated as Police Jus-
tice of said District, and to have exclusive jurisdiction of
