meeting there shall be any lawlessness or disorder it shall be the
duty of any justice of the peace to investigate the matter, and
upon proof of said lawlessness or disorder he shall forthwith
revoke said permit, and it shall be the duty of the officers of
Queen Anne's county to enforce the provisions of this Act. Any
justice of the peace issuing any permit as aforesaid shall charge
therefor a fee of twenty-five cents. Any person or persons vio-
lating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction there-
of before any justice of the peace of Queen Anne's county be
fined not less than five nor more than one hundred dollars, and
upon refusal to pay said fine and costs shall be committed to
the county jail for a period of thirty days. All fines collected
under this section shall be paid to the County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's county for the use of the public roads.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 277.

AN ACT to repeal sections 285A, 285B, 285C, 285D, 285B, 285F,
285G, 285H, 285I and 285K of article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," as said sections
were enacted by chapter 146 of the Acts of 1900.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 285A, 285B, 285C, 285D, 285B, 285F, 285G,
285H, 285I and 285K, all inclusive, of article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," as said sec-
tions were enacted by chapter 146 of the Acts of 1900, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take.
effect from the date of its passage.
