tribution toward the construction of a bridge over the Sligo
Branch, within the corporate limits of the town of Takoma
Park, in the said Thirteenth Election District; said bridge be-
ing on the road leading from the said Takoma Park to an in-
tersecting with the old Bladensburg road; and said County
Commissioners are further authorized and empowered in their
discretion to pay over the said sum of twenty-five hundred dol-
lars ($2,500.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to the
Mayor and Council of Takoma Park, to be applied by the said
Mayor and Council for the purpose of constructing the said
bridge, together with such funds of the said town of Takoma
Park, or other funds or subscriptions as may be available or
applicable for said purpose.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 346.
AN ACT authorizing and confirming in the Board of County
School Commissioners for Montgomery county, Maryland
the right and power to utilize or make such disposition of
the abandoned public schoolhouse building foy white children
in the town of Rockville, in Montgomery county, Maryland,
and the land connected therewith, as to said board may be
deemed best and proper, and to repeal any Act or part of Act
to the extent of any inconsistency therewith.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County School Commissioners of Mont-
gomery county be and it is hereby authorized and there is here-
by confirmed in said board the right and power to, in its dis-
cretion, utilize or make such disposition of the abandoned
public schoolhouse building for white children in the town of
Rockville, in said Montgomery county, and the land connected
therewith, as the board may deem best and proper.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts, which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be
and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such incon-
sistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
