pointed or elected as hereinbefore provided for, shall, before
he enters upon the duties of his office, give bond to the State
in the penalty of three thousand dollars with security to be
approved, also by two judges of the Orphans' Court with the
condition that he shall well and faithfully execute the duties
of his office, and at the expiration of his term or of any sub-
sequent term to which he may be elected, shall turn over to
the said Commissioners of Chestertown the said water works
with their appurtenances and all moneys, books, papers and
everything else pertaining to the said office.

SEC. 9. The bonds provided for in section 8 shall be filed
with the clerk of the Circuit Court for the county and recorded
by him and the expenses of recording them, together with the
premiums paid surety companies to obtain them, shall be
allowed and paid out of the funds of the town.

CHAPTER 200.

AN ACT to enlarge the third election district of Kent county
by adding thereto part of the second election district of
said county, and to establish voting precincts in said third
election district so enlarged.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the third election district of Kent county shall be
and is hereby enlarged and divided into two voting precincts
in the manner hereinafter provided.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the third election district
of Kent county be divided into two election precincts with the
following metes and bounds, that is to say: Beginning at the
mouth of Still Pond river and running thence with the said
river and mill pond and stream or old road bed in the rear of
Wm. D. Pennington's residence, till the said old road bed in-
tersects the present public road running to Wroth's Corner;
thence running with the said public road running toward Bet-
terton, till it reaches Stoneton road; thence with said Stoneton
road and continuing in a straight line easterly till that line
intersects Loyd's creek; thence with said creek to Sassafras
river, and all that part of the third election district and the
north end of the second election district lying to the north and
