vided, however, that the amount of compensation and expenses
of said stenographic clerk shall not exceed the annual sum of
one hundred dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 193.
AN ACT to repeal section 61 of article 13 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, titled "Harford County," sub-
titled "County Commissioners," as amended by chapter 50
of the Code of the General Assembly of 1900, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 61 of article 13 of the Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Harford County," sub-title "County Commis-
sioners," as amended by chapter 50 of the Code of 1900, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as follows:
61. He shall receive such annual salary as the County Com-
missioners shall direct, not to exceed the sum of f 1,200.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 711.
AN ACT to change the boundary lines between the second and
third election districts of Harford county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the lines between the second and third election
districts of Harford county, as now laid down, be changed, and
that the lines which shall hereafter divide said districts shall
be as follows: Beginning for the same at the intersection of the
boundary line of the second district with that of the third dis-
trict, at Haviland's Corner; thence running southerly with the
center of a private road starting at said corner, and running
through the property of the late Hosa Barns until it inter-
sects the public road leading from Churchville to Alden; thence
running westerly with the center of the public road leading
from Strickland's Corner to Carsin's run; thence southerly
with the centre of the public road leading from Carsin's run
