736 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

"Charles County," sub-title "County Commissioners and
County Treasurer," as the same was enacted by chapter 507
of the Acts of 1904, being an Act to regulate the publishing
required to be contracted for by the County Commissioners
of Charles "county, said new section to be numbered 49B.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be added to article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Charles County," sub-title "County
Commissioners and County Treasurer," to come in after sec-
tion 49A of article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Charles County," sub-title "County Commissioners and County
Treasurer," as the same was enacted by chapter 507 of the Acts
of 1904, being an Act to regulate the publishing required to be
contracted for by the County Commissioners of Charles county,
said new section to be numbered 49B, and to read as follows:

SEC. 49B. That all notices to creditors and all other notices
to be given by executors or administrators shall be published
in such newspaper or newspapers of general circulation in said
county as may be selected by the said executors or administra-
tors, or their duly authorized attorney, as the case may be; and
all notices to be given by the sheriff, in the way of execution,
shall be published in such newspaper or newspapers as may be
selected by the creditor at whose instance the execution was
issued or his attorney, or, in the absence of such direction, by
the sheriff.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts in-
consistent with the provisions of this Act, be, and the same are
hereby repealed, and that this Act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 93
of article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Charles
County," sub-title "La Plata," as repealed and re-enacted by
chapter 518 of the Acts of 1900, also section 116C of the afore-
said article, as repealed and re-enacted by chapter 629 of the
Acts of 1902 and chapter 580 of the Acts of 1906, also sec-
tion 116G of the aforesaid article as the same was enacted by
