SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 147.

AN ACT to extend the jurisdiction of the Board of Park Com-
missioners of the city of Baltimore over the sidewalks which
border on Harlem Park, in said city.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the jurisdiction of the Board of Park Commission-
ers of the city of Baltimore be and the same is hereby extended
over the sidewalks which border on Harlem Park, in said city,
on all sides of said park to the curb lines of said sidewalks, as
now established.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 30, 1908.

CHAPTER 106.

AN ACT to amend article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Depart-
ment of Public Parks and Squares, " by adding a section
thereto, to be known as section 93A, authorizing the Board of
Park Commissioners to establish athletic fields and play-
grounds for the use of the students of the public schools of
Baltimore city, and to regulate the use thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Department of Pub-
lic Parks and Squares, " be and the same is hereby amended by
adding a section thereto, to come after section 93, to be known
as section 93A, and to read as follows:

93A. The Board of Park Commissioners is authorized and
empowered to establish athletic fields and playgrounds in the
public parks of Baltimore city for the use of the students of
the public schools of said city, and to designate the grades
and classes of students who shall use the different playgrounds
which may be so established, and to prescribe rules and regu-
