SEC. 3. And be it enacted,, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 593.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Baltimore county to make a special annual levy of ten cents
on the one hundred($100) dollars on the whole assessable
property of the fifteenth district of Baltimore county for the
purpose of macadamizing the roads of said district.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore county at
the time of the annual tax levy for the year 1908, and each
succeeding year thereafter, are hereby authorized and directed
to make a special annual levy of ten cents on each one hundred
($100) dollars on the whole assessable property of the fifteenth
district of Baltimore county, to be collected as other county
taxes are collected, and when collected to be used by the said
County Commissioners exclusively for the purpose of purchas-
ing hard material for the roads of said district.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That all Acts or parts of Acts in-
consistent herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 660.

AN ACT to provide for an annual levy by the Board of County
Commissioners of Baltimore county, for the purpose of
raising funds for the erection and maintenance of the public
schools of said county, and to provide for a levy by said
commissioners for the years 1908 and 1909, for an additional
fund for the purpose of erecting new school buildings in the
county.
