436 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

199. The box in which are placed the names of persons
selected for the jury in Baltimore county shall contain fifteen
compartments, and there shall be drawn therefrom in the man-
ner now provided by law four names from the compartment
number one, four names from compartment number three, four
names from compartment number eight (instead of five names
as heretofore from each of said compartments), five names
from compartment number nine (instead of six names as here-
tofore), four names from compartment number twelve and four
names from compartment number fifteen (instead of two names
as heretofore from each of said compartments).

200. There shall be the. following number of justices of the
peace and constables in Baltimore county, that is to say: For
election district number one, eight justices of the peace and
four constables; for election district number two, five justices
of the peace and two constables; for election district number
three, eight justices of the peace and four constables; for elec-
tion district number four, four justices of the peace and two-
constables; for election district number five, four justices of the
peace and two constables; for election district number six,
four justices of the peace and two constables; for election dis-
trict number seven, four justices of the peace and two consta-
bles; for election district number eight, six justices of the
peace and two constables; for election district number nine,
eleven justices of the peace and five constables.; one of whom
shall reside in Towson; for election district number ten, three
justices of the peace and two constables; for election district
number eleven, five justices of the peace and six constables;
for election district number twelve, three justices of the peace
and two constables; for election district number thirteen, three
justices of the peace and three constables; for election district
number fourteen, five justices of the peace and two constables;
for election district number fifteen, seven justices of the peace
and three constables; but the County Commissioners may, in
their discretion, upon the expiration of the terms of the con-
stables who are in office at the time of the passing of this Act,
or who may hereafter be appointed under this Act, appoint a
less number of constables for any election district than the
number hereinbefore named; provided, that there shall always
be at least one constable in each of said election districts.

201. Each of said justices of the peace, before entering upon
the duties of his office, shall give to the State of Maryland a
good and sufficient bond, with security to be approved by the
County Commissioners of Baltimore county, in the following
penalties, to wit: justices of the peace appointed for the second,
