unless the party appealing shall give bond, with two sufficient
securities, to be.approved by the justice to the State of Mary-
land, in double the amount of the fine imposed, with condi-
tion to prosecute such appeal with effect to the Circuit Court
at its next session thereafter, and to pay the fine imposed,
and all costs attending such proceedings, in case judgment
shall be affirmed.

157. It shall not be lawful for any person to haul a seine
or to fish with gill nets, fikes, traps or set nets of any kind
or description in any of the rivers, creeks, coves, branches or
waters within the limits of or adjacent or contiguous to
Baltimore county, without first obtaining the permission in
writing thereto from the owners or occupiers of the banks or
shores in Baltimore county of such rivers, creeks, coves,
branches or waters aforesaid, in front or opposite to which
any such seine, gill net, fike, trap or set net of any kind or
description is or may be placed.

158. It shall not be lawful for any person to fish with gill
nets, fikes, traps or set nets of any kind or description within
one mile on either side of a line drawn from the northeastern-
most extremity or point of Spry's island; nor shall it be law-
ful for any person to set gill nets, fikes, traps or set nets of
any kind or description in the rivers, creeks, coves, branches
or waters of Baltimore county, farther than one-third the
width of said waters, beginning at low water mark on either
side of aforesaid waters, within the limits of Baltimore
county.

159. Any person violating the provisions of either of
the preceding sections shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than six
months nor less than three months and by a fine of not more
than two hundred nor less than fifty dollars, for each and
every violation in the discretion of the court.

160. It shall not be lawful for any person to enclose any
of the streets, lanes or alleys, or any part of the streets, lanes
or alleys as laid down in Poppleton's plat of the town of
Franklin, in Baltimore county, under the penalty of twenty
dollars for each and every offense, and five dollars for each
and every day that such street, lane or alley shall remain,
in whole or in part, enclosed.

161. It shall not be lawful for any person to enclose any
of the public grounds, as laid down in the said plat of the town
