printed in said county, when it shall seem best to them so to
do; and the proceeds of such sale shall be received by the
Treasurer of the county, who shall be authorized, on the full
payment of the purchase money, and not before, to execute a
good and sufficient deed to the purchaser; and the money
arising from such sale shall be accounted for by the said
treasurer as other public money now is or may hereafter be
accounted for according to law.

77. The County Commissioners of Baltimore county, in
publishing the annual statement of expenses for said county,
as required by section 11 of article 25 of the Public General
Laws, shall add to said statement a summarized statement of
the liabilities and assets of said county at the close of the
fiscal year, and the said report shall be published within sixty
days of the close of the fiscal year.

78. Whenever the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county shall be notified in writing that Canada thistles are
growing on any lands in said county, they shall immediately
cause a notice in writing to be served on the owner, agent,
lessees or other person in charge of or occupying said lands,
notifying him or them that such thistles are growing on said
lands, and requiring that such thistles shall be cut and
destroyed within ten days from the time of service of such
notice; and should such owner or other person having charge
of or occupying such lands fail to have the same cut and
destroyed within the said ten days, it shall be lawful, and the
said County Commissioners are hereby directed to employ
laborers to cut and destroy the said thistles and to pay such
wages for said services, not exceeding fifteen cents per hour
for the time occupied in performing such services, as they
may deem reasonable and proper; which sums, together with
the costs of serving notice and returning the same (which
costs and fees shall be the same as is now allowed by law for
similar service) shall be certified by the County Commissioners
to the County Treasurer, who shall pay the same, and the said
cost and charges shall be collected from the said owner of
said land as other costs and charges.

79. At each general election held in Baltimore county,
the legal voters thereof shall elect by ballot a Treasurer,
whose duty it shall be to receive all moneys which may be due
the said county and pay all claims against the same. '

80. The Treasurer of Baltimore county shall be the col-
lector of all State and county taxes for said county which
may be levied by the County Commissioners. Before entering
