ment, two hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary; for insurance on public buildings of the State and the per-
sonal property belonging thereto, twelve thousand dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary.
COMMISSIONERS OF FISHERIES.
For the salaries of the two Commissioners of Fisheries, one
thousand five hundred dollars each, three thousand dollars;
and to defray the expenses of the Commissioners as per section
89 of article 39 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fish
and Fisheries, " sub-title "Commissioners of Fisheries, " seven
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as in the opinion of the
Governor may be necessary; no part of the said appropriation
to be expended in the killing of eels in the Wicomico river, or
in other waters of the State of Maryland; to the Fish Commis-
sioner of the Eastern Shore for the propagation of fish within
the waters of the Eastern Shore, the sum of two thousand dol-
lars, to the Fish Commissioner of the Western Shore for the
propagation of fish within the waters of the Western Shore, the
sum of fifteen hundred dollars; and the Commissioners of
Fisheries are hereby directed and required to make a detailed
report to the Governor at the end of each fiscal year of the
expenditures of said funds with the vouchers thereto attached.
MILITIA.
For the support of the Militia of the State to be distributed,
applied and expended under the supervision of the Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in accordance with the Acts of Assem-
bly in such case made and provided, the following sums, or so
much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated; for the
contingent and necessary expenses of the Adjutant General's
office and for the maintenance, equipment and discipline of the
land force of the militia, duly organized as prescribed by said
Acts of Assembly, the sum of seventy thousand dollars; for the
maintenance, equipment and discipline of the first naval bat-
talion, duly organized as prescribed by said Acts of Assembly,
the sum of ten thousand dollars.
REFORMATORY AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS.
To the Maryland House of Correction, for the support of the
institution, thirty thousand dollars; to the Maryland School for
Boys, twenty thousand dollars, together with the further sum
of twelve thousand five hundred dollars for buildings; to the
Female House of Refuge, five thousand dollars, together with
the further sum of four thousand dollars, with which to
