reverter which may arise on breach of such condition or con-
ditions, under the following restrictions.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 569.

AN ACT to add a new section concerning the rule against per-
petuities to article 93 of the Code of Public General Laws of
1888, title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Wills, " and to
article 93 of the Code of Public General Laws of 1904, title '
"Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Wills, " to come in after
section 308, in said Code of 1888, and to be known as sec-
tion 308A, therein, and to come in after section 315 in said
Code of 1904, and to be known as section 315A therein.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section concerning the rule against perpe-
tuities be added to article 93 of the Code of Public General
Laws of 1888, title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Wills, "
and to article 93 of the Code of Public General Laws of 1904,
title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Wills, " to come in after
section 308 in said Code of 1888, and to be known therein as
section 308A, and to come in after section 315 in said Code of
1904, and to be known as section 315A, and to read as follows,
except that in the said Code of 1904, the number of the section
shall be 315A, instead of section 308A.

SEC. 308A. The rule against perpetuities shall not apply to
any contingent remainder, executory devise, bequest or limi-
tation of real or personal property, or both, by will or testa-
ment, intended to transfer the same from any corporation
incorporated for charitable or educational objects to an indi-
vidual or from any such corporation to any other such corpora-
tion on a contingency or future event, nor to any condition
subsequent, or breach theroef upon which any such devise,
bequest or limitation is intended to operate.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act is not intended to
be, and shall not be construed as an interpretation of existing
law.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
