as Private Acts; the Public General Laws to be arranged under
their appropriate articles in the alphabetical order of said
articles, as they are now printed in the Code of 1904; the Public
Local Laws of the several counties and of the city, of Baltimore
to be arranged and printed in the alphabetical order of the
counties and the city of Baltimore, as they are now printed -in
the Code of Public Local Laws of 1888, and the private Acts
in the order of their passage, preserving as to all of said Public
General Laws, Public Local Laws and private Acts their sev-
eral chapter numbers and the date of their approval. And
promptly, upon the receipt of such certified copies of said laws,
so compiled, classified and indexed, it shall be the duty of the
public printer to print the same as provided by his contract,
and to deliver the same, when printed, as provided by his con-
tract, and as and for the compensation of the person to be
appointed by the Governor under this section, for such compila-
tion, classification and indexing and for the work necessary
to be done under section 7 of this article, the sum of fifteen hun-
dred dollars is hereby appropriated, and the Comptroller is
hereby directed to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer in
favor of the person so appointed by the Governor, upon a war-
rant to be drawn by the Governor upon the Comptroller, when
the completion of such work of compilation, classification and
indexing.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

ARTICLE LXXXI.
REVENUE AND TAXES.
CHAPTER 386.
AN ACT to repeal sections 9 and 10, article 81, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-
title "Mode of Valuation and Assessment, " in so far as the
same affects St. Mary's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 9 and 10 of article 81 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws of 1904, be and the same are hereby repealed
in so far as they affect St. Mary's county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.
