the same privileges be accorded to licensed physicians of this
State; provided, further, that nothing. in this sub-title shall
annul any of the provisions of Article 32, title "Dentistry, "
nor shall apply to any registered graduate of dental surgery
now practicing in the said State of Maryland, with the sign
titles: Dentist, surgeon dentist, dental surgeon or stometelo-
gist; and provided further, that nothing herein contained
shall be so construed as to prevent or in any way make
unlawful or interfere with the sale by manufacturing, whole-
sale or retail druggists, or any persons dealing in drugs or
medicines of any proprietary or patent medicine or any official
or standard, drug or medicine.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 615.
AN ACT to make an appropriation for the Maryland Board of
Pharmacy.
WHEREAS, Chapter 179 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its January Session of 1902, provides that
the Governor of the State shall appoint five skilled and com-
petent pharmacists, to be known as the Maryland Board of
Pharmacy, and the members of said board, in consideration of
the duties they were to perform, as prescribed by the said law,
were to receive a salary of fifty dollars (?50) per year and
expenses; and the secretary of said board was to receive a
salary of two hundred dollars ($200) per year; and
WHEREAS, The said provided that the said board should re-
port annually to the Governor of the State upon the condition
of pharmacy in the State, which report shall also furnish a
record of the proceedings of the board, as well as the names of
all persons registered as pharmacists under the law; and said
board is without sufficient funds in hand to pay for the cost
of printing their report to the Governor for the current year;
and
WHEREAS, The members of the said board have received no
salary for the past several months, and have paid their own
expenses while performing their duties as members of the
board, for which amounts they have not been reimbursed, and
are now entitled to the sum of three hundred and sixty dollars
(I860) for back salaries and expenses; therefor
