SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 580.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Farmers' Mutual Ex-
change of Frederick County, a corporation duly formed
under the provisions of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, by providing for the number of directors of said
corporation to be increased.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That article 4 of the charter of the Farmers' Mutual Ex-
change of Frederick County, a corporation duly formed under
the provisions of the Code of Public General Laws of this
State, entitled "Corporations," which was duly incorporated
by certificate recorded, under the provisions of the general in-
corporation laws of the State of Maryland, in Record of Cor-
porations No. 2, folio 670, in the office of the clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Frederick county, be and the same is hereby
amended so as to read as follows:

Article 4. The affairs of this corporation shall be managed
by a board of directors consisting of not less than ten nor more
than twenty-one directors, to be elected annually at such time
and place as may be provided for in the by-laws of said/corpo-
ration. All owners of one or more shares of stock shall be mem-
bers of the corporation and shall be entitled to one vote for each
share of stock held.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all the other powers
possessed by said corporation under its said certificate of in-
corporation are hereby ratified and confirmed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 596.

AN ACT to confer additional corporate powers and privileges
upon the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in
the Diocese of Easton by authorizing the treasurer of said
diocese, or the Board of Estates of said diocese, should such
board be constituted, to receive from the vestry of any parish
in the diocese, or from any person or corporation, such sums
