SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 528.
AN ACT to authorize and empower Clement G. Rogers to
construct in front of his property in the town of Cambridge,
Dorchester county, Maryland, a wharf or shell walk extend-
ing into the Great Choptank river.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Clement G. Rogers, of the town of Cambridge, in
Dorchester county, be and he is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to construct and erect a wharf or shell walk at and ad-
joining the land of the said Clement G. Rogers at the foot of
West End avenue, in the southeast side thereof in said town
of Cambridge, said wharf or shell walk to extend into the Great
Choptank river for a distance not exceeding three hundred
yards, to be of a width not greater than the width of said
land of the said Clement G. Rogers, to be immediately in front
thereof, and to run and extend with the extended lines of said
land out into the said river; provided, the said wharf or shell
walk shall be constructed or established on or before the first
day of January, nineteen hundred and ten.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That said wharf or shell walk
when so constructed and erected shall be the property of the
said Clement G. Rogers, his heirs and assigns forever.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 535.
AN ACT to change the name and amend the charter of the
"Havre de Grace and Perryville Bridge Company of Harford
County," a corporation formed under the General Laws of
the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of the "Havre de Grace and Perryville
Bridge Company of Harford County," a corporation formed
under the General Laws of the State of Maryland, be and the
same is hereby changed to "The Havre de Grace and Perryville
Bridge Company," and by such name said corporation shall
have perpetual succession and shall be competent to sue and
