the laws of Maryland, of a certain lot of ground in the city
of Baltimore, situated on the southwest side of Madison avenue,
between Wilson and Laurens streets, having a frontage of about
one hundred and one feet on Madison avenue and a depth of
about one hundred and twenty feet, to an alley, by the minister
and trustees of St. John's Independent Methodist Church of
Baltimore City, by their deed dated the twenty-seventh day of
November, 1907, and recorded on the third day of December,
1907, among the Land Records of Baltimore city, in Liber S. C.
L., No. 2389, folio 360, etc., and that the fee simple title to said
lot vest, pursuant to said deed, absolutely in said corporation.
"St. John's of Baltimore," being the corporate body of a re-
ligious congregation of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South,
its successors and assigns, to its own and their own and behalf.
28. To the sale, grant and conveyance to Hughes Chapel
Methodist Episcopal Church, South, Brentwood, a body corpor-
ate, incorporated under the laws of this State, of a certain
lot of ground in Brentwood, Prince George's county, by Wil-
liam A. Bartlett and Ira J. Baker, by their deed as joint
tenants, dated the twenty-sixth day of March, 1907, and re-
corded among the Land Records of Prince George's county on
the sixth day of April, 1907, in Liber 31, folio 455, and that
the fee simple title to said lot vest, pursuant to said deed,
absolutely in said corporation, its successors and assigns, to
its own and their own use and behoof.
29. To the sale, grant and conveyance to Haddaway Chapel
Methodist Episcopal Church, South, a body corporate, incor-
porated under the laws of the State of Maryland, of a certain
lot of ground near Branchville, in Prince George's county,
situated on the north side of the Branchville road, and on the
east side of the road leading therefrom to the northwest, and
containing about 28,344 square feet to "Haddaway Chapel
Methodist Episcopal Church, South," a body corporate of the
State of Maryland, duly incorporated, by Cora L. Scaggs, Mary
Elinor Scaggs, Mildred Lee Scaggs, Rachael Irene Scaggs, Lucy
Dulaney Scaggs, Edna Kathleen Scaggs and Lillian Scaggs,
by their deed dated the twentieth day of February, 1907, and
recorded among the Land Records of Prince George's county
on the second day of March, 1908, in Liber No. 44, folio 121,
etc., and that the fee simple title to said lot vest, pursuant to
said deed, absolutely in said body corporate; its successors and
assigns, to its own and their own use and behalf.
30. To the sale, grant and conveyance to the trustees of the
Tome Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church in Port Deposit,
a corporation of the State of Maryland, of a parcel of land
