certain gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various
persons in this State, to and for the use and benefit of sundry
ministerial persons, religious denominations, corporations or
sects, and to charitable institutions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales,
leases and deeds, to and for the use and benefit of certain min-
isterial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions as herein set forth:
1. To the sale, grant and deed in fee simple by Robert D. M.
Mulholland, et al., to "The Govanstown Methodist Episcopal
Church of Baltimore County," now by amended charter called
"The Trustees of Govanstown Methodist Episcopal Church of
Govanstown, Baltimore County, State of Maryland." The fee
simple interest in and to a lot of ground on the west side of
the York Turnpike Road in Baltimore county, by deed dated
December 12, 1881, and duly recorded among the Laud Records
of Baltimore'county aforesaid, in Liber W. M. L, No. 127, folio
446, etc.
2. To the sale, grant and deed by Solomon Herman and
Bessie Herman, his wife, to the trustees of the "Anshe S'phard
Hebrew Congregation of Baltimore City," a body corporate of
the city of Baltimore in the State of Maryland, of a tract or
parcel of land in Baltimore county, in said State, more particu-
larly described in a deed from the said Solomon Herman and
Bessie Herman, his wife, to the said trustees of the Anshe
S'phard Hebrew Congregation of Baltimore City, and recorded
among the Land Records of Baltimore county in Liber W. P.
C., No. 314, folio 13, etc.
3. To the bequest of two hundred dollars contained in the
last will and testament of William Tobias Haller, late of Bal-
timore city, to the Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary So-
ciety of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Maryland (General
Synod).
4. To the bequest of five hundred dollars by Leah M. Au-
keney, late of Washington county, to "St. Paul's United Breth-
ren of Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland."
5. To the bequest of one thousand dollars by Mrs. Clara
Haines, of Westminster, Carroll county, to the "Board of Home
Missions of the Reformed Church in the United States."
6. To a sale, grant and deed of leasehold interest of a certain
lot of ground situate on the east side of Elm avenue, Hampden.
