bond, to which it was entitled to be allowed by the State Tax
Commissioner in its assessment for those years; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue upon the Treasurer of Mary-
land for the sum of thirty-three dollars and seventy cents in
favor of the "Canton Distilleries Company of Baltimore
County," in settlement of its claim for taxes erroneously paid
by it into the Treasury of the State for the years 1904 and
1905.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER $62.
AN ACT to empower, authorize and direct the County Com-
missioners of Charles county to levy at the next levy a sum
of money to the use of James G. Cooksey, paid by the said
James G. Cooksey into the treasury of Charles county in
error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,, That the County Commissioners of Charles county be and
they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to levy at
the next levy, the sum of sixty-two dollars and eighty-four
cents ($62.84) to the use of the said James G. Cooksey, paid by
the said James G. Cooksey into the treasury of Charles county
in error.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 303.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the Comptroller of the State
Treasury and the County Commissioners of Baltimore county,
respectively, to refund to Maggie Lurz Hagan, money paid
by her for liquor license granted or to be granted to Edward
W. Bennett for the year 1905-1906, which license was never
taken from the clerk's office of the Circuit Court of said
county.
Whereas the said Maggie Lurz Hagan paid to the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Baltimore county the sum of two hundred
