shall be held on the second Monday in January of each and
every year, or at such other time as may be fixed by the cor-
poration, shall elect a board of fifteen directors, each share
of stock being entitled one vote, to manage the affairs of said
corporation according to the rules and by-laws of the cor-
poration. Five days' notice iu writing shall be previously
given or mailed to the shareholders of this corporation of the
annual and of any special meetings that may be called by the
board of directors.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the sheriff of the county in
which said corporation holds its assembly, upon application
of its board of directors, shall have power to appoint such
peace officers as may be deemed necessary for the preservation
of order on the premises of said corporation, which officers
shall be paid by said corporation for their services, and shall
have, when on duty, the same power, authority and immuni-
ties which county constables and other peace officers under
the laws of this State possess and enjoy when on duty as such,
and shall have power to enforce obedience to any rule or regu-
lation of the board of directors or of said corporation for the
preservation of quiet and good order on said grounds and
premises; provided, that the powers hereby granted in this
section shall apply to Anne Arundel county only.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 354.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Dorchester county to levy and refund to James Higgins,
executor of Aurelius Bunten, deceased, a sum of money erro-
neously paid as taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Dorchester county
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy an
amount of taxes sufficient to refund and pay to James Higgins,
executor of Aurelius Bunten, late of Dorchester county, de-
ceased, the sum of two hundred and fifty-four dollars and
thirty-nine cents ($254.39), erroneously paid by the said
executor to the tax collector of No. 9 election district of said
county for the years 1900, 1901, 1902, 1903 and 1904, and by
him paid into the Treasury of said county.
