PRIVATE ACTS. 1261
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall
be subject to the provisions of chapter 109 of the Acts of Gen-
eral Assembly of 1902, as amended by chapter 160 of the Acts
of General Assembly of 1896, and to all general laws applica-
ble to companies or associations of a character similar to that
named in this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 312.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the sale, grant and conveyance of
certain lands lying in Frederick county, Maryland, made by
John Robert Myers to Leonard S. House and other trustees
of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Brunswick, in Fred-
erick county, Maryland, by deed dated August 16, A. D.
1906, and recorded in Liber S. T. H. No. 276, folio 261, one
of the Land Records of Frederick county, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same are hereby given, granted and de-
clared to the sale, grant and conveyance of a certain lot of
land forty-two feet in length and twenty-one feet in width,
made by John Robert Myers to Leonard S. House, Isaac B.
Cannon, Rudolph T. Ault, Thomas A. Sigafoose, DeWitt C.
Dixon, Peter Nicodemus, Henry B. Funk and Frederick S.
Kemp and their successors in office as trustees of the Metho-
dist Episcopal Church of Brunswick, in Frederick county,
Maryland, for the use and benefit of said church, by deed
dated August 16, A. D. 1906, and recorded in Liber S. T. H. No.
276, folio 261, one of the Land Records of Frederick county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 323.
AN ACT to provide for the retirement of certain judges of
courts of this State, they having become unable to discharge
their duties with efficiency by reason of continued sickness.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
