ment of its property and the regulation of its affairs as it
may think proper and advisable and from time to time repeal,
amend or re-enact the same.
Article 8. That the officers of said corporation shall con-
sist of a president, vice-president, secretaries, treasurer, hon-
orary vice-presidents, and board of trustees, consisting of the
officers and not more than twenty-live members, and such other
officers and committees as may be provided by the constitution
and by-laws of said corporation.
Article 9. That J. Harry Tregoe, John T. Stone, Frederick
T. Dorton, Louis Cassard, Jr., Isaac S. Field, E. Vaughan Web-
ster, Adelbert AY. Mears, Rev. Edwin A. McAlpin, Jr., Orrin
C. Painter, Rev. A. Guttmacher, Geo. M. Griffith, Louis K.
Gutman, Robert M. Coombs, J. W. Frizzell, Robert D. Klees,
Rev. G. Moseley Murray, Eugene O'Dunne, H. S. Dulaney,
Warren N. Lancaster, Edward Stinson, W. O. VanSant and
Joseph N. Ulman shall constitute the first board of trustees
under this amended charter and shall hold office until their
successors are chosen or elected as provided by the constitu-
tion and by-laws of the said corporation; that all of the present
members of the Maryland Prisoners Aid Association of the
City of Baltimore, in good standing, who comply with the con-
stitution and by-laws of the corporation are hereby constitu-
ted members of said corporation; that on or before the first
day of October, 1908, written notices shall be sent to all the
officers and members of said corporation for the purpose of
holding a general meeting, the time and place of which shall
be therein named, at which meeting this amended charter shall
be adopted, together with such constitution and by-laws as
may be proper in the premises.
Article 10. That the present president, vice-presidents, treas-
urer and recording secretary shall hold their offices until
successors are chosen or elected, as provided by the constitu-
tion and by-laws of the said corporation.
Article 11. That the board of trustees shall have general
supervision and management of the affairs of the corporation,
appoint all agents and committees, prescribe their duties, fill
all vacancies of any kind. They shall report all their proceed-
ings at the annual meeting of the corporation to be held \as
prescribed by the constitution and by-laws thereof.
Article 12. That prisoners or witnesses may be paroled by
any court in the city of Baltimore or the counties of the State
of Maryland, in the custody of the said corporation.
Article 13. That the said corporation shall have the right
