PRIVATE ACTS. 1225
Whereas specialists in charge of said institution and other
prominent physicians appointed by said Board of Police Com-
missioners have certified that his mental disability is attribu-
table to the blows proved to have been inflicted on his head
while ill the discharge of his duty as policeman; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of Police Commissioners for the city of
Baltimore be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
pay to or for the use of said James R. Browne, formerly on
the police force in the city of Baltimore, the sum of twelve and
one-half dollars per week for and during his natural life, out
of any funds under the control of said Board of Police Com-
missioners, known as and to be accounted for as the "special
fund" mentioned in section 776, chapter 123, Acts of 1898,
entitled "City of Baltimore, Charter."
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 201.
AX ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Cecil
county to refund to Catherine Maloney twenty-six dollars
and forty-three cents, money erroneously paid into the Treas-
ury of Cecil county as county taxes in the years 1898, 1899,
1900, 1901, 1902, 1903 and 1904.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Cecil county, Mary-
land, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to refund
to Catherine Maloney twenty-six dollars and forty-three cents,
money erroneously paid into the county treasury, county taxes
for the years 1898,1899,1900,1901, 1902, 1903 and 1904.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 208.
AN ACT to make perpetual the charter of the Oheb Sholom
Congregation of Baltimore City, and to authorize it to pro-
vide by-laws for the time and manner of election of and term
of its officers and trustees.
