PRIVATE ACTS.
CHAPTER 10.
AN ACT to extend the existence of the Maryland Society for
the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land., That the existence of the Maryland Society for the Pre-
vention of Cruelty to Animals of Baltimore City, a corporation
existing under and by virtue of the general laws of the State of
Maryland, be and the same is hereby made perpetual.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage, subject to the right of the
State1 of Maryland to repeal, alter or amend the same at
pleasure.

CHAPTER 11.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Jane Bay Home for
Boys of Baltimore City, for the purpose of making its exist-
ence perpetual.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Jane Bay Home for Boys of Baltimore City, in-
corporated under the general incorporation laws of Maryland
by certificate bearing date the 23d day of March, 1874, and re-
corded among the charter records of the city of Baltimore, in
Liber G. R., No. 18, folio 62, etc., for the beneficial and charit-
able purposes in said certificate named, and the existence of
which corporation was by the said certificate limited to forty
years, shall have perpetual existence; and this Act shall operate
as an amendment to the charter of said corporation.
