to the informer, the other half to be paid to the Board of
County School Commissioners of said county for the use of
the public schools of said county.
52 A. And be it enacted, That it shall not be lawful for any
person to hunt or kill any fox in said county from the first
day of March to the first day of October in each year. Noth-
ing in this Act to be construed to prevent the killing of foxes
at any time by any person while they are in pursuit of his
poultry; provided, however, that the killing of said fox or
foxes be done within a reasonable time from the killing of
said poultry.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 139.
AN ACT to repeal chapter 223 of the Acts of 1904 of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland,.entitled An Act to repeal sec-
tions 1, 2, 3 and 4 of chapter 195 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1896, entitled An Act to enable
the legal voters of Wicomico county or any election district,
or town or city of said county to determine by election whether
or not fermented, spirituous or intoxicating liquors shall
be sold in the said county, or in any election district, town
or city of said county, and to enact six sections in lieu thereof,
to be known as sections IA, 2, 3, 4, 4A and 4s, to provide
for a special election to determine said question in Salisbury
election district No. 9 and Delmar election district No. 11
of said county, and to add an additional section, to be called
section 18, prohibiting the sale of liquor in certain other dis-
tricts of said county, and also to repeal chapter 195 of the
Acts of 1896 of the General Assembly of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That chapter 223 of the Acts of 1904 of the General
Assembly of Maryland, entitled An Act to repeal sections 1, 2,
3 and 4 of chapter 195 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1896, entitled An Act to enable the legaf voters
of Wicomico county, or any election district or town or city
of said county, to determine by election whether or not fer-
mented, spirituous or intoxicating liquors shall be sold in the
said county, or in any election district, town or city of said
county, and to enact six sections in lien thereof to be known as
sections IA, 2, 3, 4, 4A and 4e; to provide for a special election
