for corporation cases, and therein record and make regular
entries of the proceedings in all such cases, setting forth the
fine or imprisonment imposed and the amount of costs, and he
shall submit said docket to the inspection of any person who
may request to see the same, and upon demand of any person in-
terested, shall deliver a copy of any judgment rendered by
him; he shall make quarterly reports to the Burgess and Com-
missioners of the fines collected by him, and duly account for
and pay over the same.
SEC. 295c. From any judgment rendered by the Burgess, as
the police justice, in the enforcement of any of the ordinances of
the town, and appeal shall lie by the person aggrieved to the
Circuit Court for Washington county; provided, the appeal is
taken within three days after the rendering of the judgment;
and provided the person aggrieved shall enter into good and
sufficient bond for the faithful prosecution of the appeal and
for the payment of all costs in the case the judgment be
affirmed, but no appeal shall stay process or execution upon
judgment, unless the bond be given as also provided.
SEC. 295D. The Burgess and Commissioners of Keedysville.
for the enforcement of the ordinances of the town and the pres-
ervation of its peace and good order, are hereby authorized to
appoint a bailiff, which bailiff shall have all the powers of a
constable, and any person resisting a bailiff in the discharge of
his duty shall be liable, upon conviction, to punishment in the
same manner and to the same extent as if he had resisted a con-
stable, and any bailiff so appointed, who shall be guilty of offi-
cial misconduct shall be proceeded against by presentment and
indictment in the Circuit Court for Washington county, and if
found guilty shall be fined or imprisoned, or both, in the discre-
tion of the court. He shall receive for his services the same
fees as are allowed by law to constables for similar services, or
he shall receive a salary not exceeding twenty ($20.00) dollars
per annum, in the discretion of the said Burgess and Commis-
sioners.
SEC. 295E. The Burgess and Commissioners be and they are
hereby vested with power and authority to grant the use of the
streets and highways of the town to any railway company, the
motive power whereof shall be either horse or electricity, and to
prescribe the terms and conditions upon which such use shall be
allowed.
SEC. 295F. The said Burgess and Commissioners are author-
ized and empowered to enter into contract with any person or
persons, corporation or corporations, for the purpose of secur-
ing lighting by gas, electricity or otherwise, of the streets,
