as repealed and re-enacted by chapter 177 of the Acts of 1906,
and re-enact said sections 2 and 3, chapter 526 of the Acts
of 1904, as re-enacted by said chapter 177 of the Acts of
1906, with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 2 and 3 of chapter 526 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, as re-enacted by chap-
ter 177 of the Acts 1906, be repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows:

2. That every person or persons, or body corporate, now
owning or operating any sawmill or sawmills, wheat threshing
"rig" or machine, corn husker, corn fodder shredder, corn
sheller, clover huller, operated or run by any steam engine, gas
or gasoline engine in Talbot county and not paying taxes there-
on to full assessable value theseof, and on all horses, mules,
oxen, wagons, carts, timber wheels and other property used
in connection therewith, unto the treasurer of Talbot county,
shall, on or before the first day of May, 1906, and on the first
day of May in each and every year thereafter take out a license
from the County Commissioners of Talbot county for the use
of said saw mill, wheat threshing "rig" or machine, corn
husker, corn fodder shredder, corn sheller, clover huller for
which said owner or operator shall pay unto the treasurer of
said county a license fee of five dollars for.each and every
sawmill, wheat threshing "rig" or machine, corn husker, corn
fodder shredder, corn sheller, clover huller, owned or operated
in said county as aforesaid, and the said County Commis-
sioners of Talbot county are hereby authorized and empowered
to issue said license upon the payment of said license fee.

3. That all persons or corporations who shall hereafter own
or operate any sawmill, wheat threshing "rig" or machine, corn
husker, corn fodder shredder, corn sheller, clover huller, in
Talbot county as aforesaid, or who shall move any sawmill,
wheat threshing "rig" or machine, corn husker, corn fodder
shredder, corn sheller, clover huller, run or operated by a steam,
gas or gasoline engine into said county from any other State
or county, and who shall not for any reason whatever pay taxes
on said sawmill, wheat threshing "rig" or machine, corn husker,
corn fodder shredder, corn sheller, clover huller and other prop-
erty used in connection therewith (as set forth in section 2 of
this Act) to the full assessable value thereof unto the treas-
urer of Talbot county, shall immediately upon acquiring said
property and before operating the same in said county, take
out a license for the use of said sawmill, wheat threshing "rig"
or machine, corn husker, corn fodder shredder, corn sheller,
