county shall be fined ten dollars and the costs of prosecution,
one-half of which said fine shall go to the informer.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 32.

AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an additional con-
stable for the first election district of Talbot county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Talbot county be and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to appoint an addi-
tional constable for the first election district in said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts and parts of Acts
inconsistent with this Act be and the same are hereby repealed,
in so far as the same are inconsistent herewith and no farther.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved February 27, 1908.

CHAPTER 134.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections 127A
and 127s of article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
the State o,f Maryland, title "Talbot County," sub-title "Li-
cense," as enacted by chapter 120 of the Acts of 1906 of the
General Assembly of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 127A and 127B of article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Talbot
County," sub-title "License," as enacted by chapter 120 of the
Acts of 1906 of the General Assembly of Maryland, be repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

127A. That it shall be unlawful for any person who shall
not have been a bona fide legal resident of Talbot county and
either a registered voter at the last preceding election in said
county, or legally entitled to have been so registered, to buy or
barter for, within the limits of Talbot county, any rags, bones,
feathers, scrap-iron, old rubber or any other article or articles,
commonly called or known as junk, until he shall have first
