keeping by said tax collector of said bonds and the proceeds
thereof. The tax collector shall sell said bonds at public
auction, at such times and in such amounts as the Mayor and
Council shall order ; he shall transfer and deliver the same as
sold to the purchaser and receive the money therefor, and shall
report under oath to the Mayor and Council his proceedings in
the premises, with the names of the persons to whom the said
bonds have been transferred, with the amounts received by
him from said sales; said money shall be credited on the books
of the tax collector, to the electric light and improvement
fund account, and paid out by him for the. purpose named in
section 1 of this Act, for which it is received and in manner
provided.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the Mayor and

Council shall cause to be kept a careful register of the bonds
so issued and the transfer thereof, and as me same are called
in and paid off, they shall be cancelled, and a record of the
cancellation by numbers, amounts and names of the last hold-
ers of said bonds shall be paid and entered upon the books in
which said bonds are registered.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 382.
AN ACT to provide Justices of the Peace and Constables for
the Twelfth, Fourteenth and Fifteenth Election Districts of
Baltimore County, and to repeal all that portion of Article
3, Section 137, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables," inconsistent herewith.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That there shall be the following number of justices of

election districts of Baltimore county : For the twelfth election
district of Baltimore county, three justices of the peace and
two constables ; for the fourteenth election district of Balti-
more county, three justices of the peace and two constables ;
for the fifteenth election district of Baltimore county, three jus-
tices of the peace and two constables.
SED. 2. And be it enacted, That all that portion of Article
3, section 137, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
