SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That all red clover seed mixed with

yellow trefoil seed, sold in the city of Baltimore, or in any
county of this State, shall be in conformity with section 1 of
this Act, and any person selling, or offering, or exposing red
clover seed mixed with yellow trefoil seed for sale, not in
accordance with section one, shall forfeit the same, and it shall
be seized and taken by the sheriff of the city of Baltimore or
the constables of any county, and sold, for the use of the
public school fund in the city or county where such seizure
was made.

Effective.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 365.
AN ACT to defray the expenses of the survey to establish
the boundary line between the States of Maryland and
West Virginia.
WHEREAS, There is now pending in the Supreme Court of

Preamble.

the United States, the suit of the State of Maryland against
the State of West Virginia, instituted by the Attorney Gen-
eral under the provisions of the Act of 1890, chapter 563, to
finally fix and determine the true location of that portion of
the boundary line between said States lying between Garrett
county in the State of Maryland and freston county in the
State of West Virginia ; and

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It became necessary that a survey should be had
of the territory in dispute, which survey is now being made
under the direction and control of the Attorney General of
this State ; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

Appropria-
tion.

land, That the sum of ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated to
defray the costs and expenses of the said survey, and the Comp-
troller of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to
draw his warrant upon the treasurer, in favor of the Attorney
General, for such costs and expenses as shall be approved by
him, the bills or vouchers therefor to be forwarded to and
filed in the office of the Comptroller of the Treasary.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
