Repeal
|
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That all parts and pro-
visions of the charter of the aforesaid corporation repugnant
to the provisions of this Act, be and the same are hereby
repealed.

Effective.
|
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 360.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, to be known as Section
188 A, title "Prince George's County," sub-title "Justices of
the Peace and Constables."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following section be added to Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's County,"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," to be known
as section 188 A of said article, to read as follows :

188 A. Each of said justices of the: peace, before entering
npon the duties of his office, shall give to the State of Mary-
land a good and sufficient bond, with surety or sureties to be
approved by the clerk of the Court of Prince George's county,
in the penalty of five hundred dollars, with condition that he
will truly and faithfully discharge, execute and perform all
and singular the duties and obligations of the office of justice
of the peace, and that he will account for and pay over to the
County Commissioners of Prince George's county all fines,
penalties and forfeitures, or any portion thereof, which he is
bound to account for and pay over to the person or corporation
entitled to receive the same, all monies belonging to such per-
son or corporation, which may come into his hands as such
justice of the peace.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect

Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, approved October 7,
1892, authorizing the issue of six million dollars of the reg-
