LAWS OF MARYLAND.

128. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That no person fishing with nets of any kind, or with seine,

in the waters of the Gunpowder river in Harford county, shall
take or datch any fish of any kind below the sizes fixed from
time, to time as marketable by the laws of this State, or if, at
any time, there is no such law in force, then below the sizes
fixed from time to time as marketable by the custom of the
trade in this section, and should any fish of said character be
so taken, then they shall be returned immediately to said
waters, alive if possible.
128 A. It shall not be lawful for any person to fish with

tion within the waters of Gunpowder river in Harford county,
except from the 15th of September to the 15th of May in each
year.

Guilty of mis-
demeanor.

128 B. Any person violating the provisions of either of the
preceding sections shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall
be punished by imprisonment for not more than six months or
less than three months, or fined not more than three hundred
nor less than ten dollars for each and every violation in the
discretion of the court.

Repeal.

128 B. Be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts incon-
sistent herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 327.
AN ACT to amend Article four of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title
"Mortgages," by adding thereto an additional section, to be
numbered Section 704 A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
