Railway Company are hereby authorized and empowered, if

they deem it advisable, to enter into an agreement with the:
directors of the Myersville and Catoctin Railway Company to
make track connections or form a line of railroad, and that the
directors of the Frederick and Middletown Railway Company
are hereby authorized and empowered, if they deem it advis-
able, to lease or consolidate with the directors of the Myers-
ville and Catoctin Railway Company, and that the directors of
the Myersville and Catoctin Railway Company, if they deem
it advisable, to enter into any of the agreements set forth in
the first part of this section with the said Frederick and Middle-
town Railway Company, they are hereby authorized and em-
powered to execute such leases or agreements.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 316.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article eleven of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick
County," sub-title "Justices of Peace and Constables," to be
known as Section 289 B, creating a Police Justice of the
Peace for Election District Number Twelve in Frederick
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following be added as an additional sec-
tion to Article eleven of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title "Justices of the
Peace and Constables," to be known as section 289 B.
289 B. The Governor, in his commission to be issued by him,

shall designate the one of the justices of the peace who shall
reside at Brunswick of the four justices of the peace to be
appointed for election district number twelve in Frederick
county, as a police justice of the peace, and said police
justice shall issue upon application therefor warrants for the
arrests of persons charged with violating any provisions of the
laws of Maryland or any of the ordinances of the Mayor and
Council of Brunswick, and shall have all the power and juris-
diction now vested by law in a justice of the peace of said
county, and shall receive the same fees in all casses as a justice
of the peace would receive.
