AN ACT to provide for the enlargement and repairs of the
buildings of St. John's College.
WHEREAS, The joint committee, appointed by the General

Assembly at its January session of 1894, (see Senate Journal,
pages 280 to 284,) and again at the January session of 1896,
(see Senate Journal 1896, pages 674 to 677,) did unanimously
recommend :

Preamble.

First. That an additional building be erected at St. John's
College to contain accommodations for library and reading-
room, a laboratory and one or more class rooms.

Second. That the present gymnasium be enlarged so that
it can be used for the additional purposes of a drill hall and
armory.
