moneys or other valuables belonging to themselves or others,
shall be and are hereby authorized to deposit the same for safe-
keeping with said company.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted. That the said corporation is
authorized to take, have, hold and enjoy all such estates, real,
personal and mixed, as may be obtained by the investment of
its capital stock, and all other moneys or funds that may come
into its possession in the course of its dealings and business,
and the same to sell, grant, mortgage, lease and dispose of at its
pleasure, and to execute and acknowledge and deliver all deeds
and other instruments of writing concerning the same.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the said company is hereby

or countersigning certificates of stocks, bonds or other evidences
of debt of any State, corporation, association, municipality or
public authority on such term as may be agreed upon, and to
receive money on deposit, and deal in exchange, foreign or

sonal effects, securities, mortgages, loans, certificates of indebt-
edness, stocks of incorporated companies, individual, firm, com-
pany or corporation notes or bonds.

any other State or the United States, into which moneys may
be paid or deposited by agreement of parties, order, judgment,
decree of said court, may order and direct the same to be
deposited with said company.

and shall have discretionary powers to invest at its pleasure all
moneys received on deposit, loan or otherwise, and that in all
