a month, and to make such suggestions and alterations as in
their judgment they shall deem necessary.
118. Each of said road commissioners shall receive the sum

of one hundred dollars, payable annually by the road commis-
sioners out of the road fund, for performing the duties of his
office. But upon any charge of malfeasance or misfeasance
preferred against them, or any one of them, pertaining to the
duties of their office, being sustained, they shall, upon convic-
tion, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall forfeit the
salary then due them, in addition to a fine to be imposed by
the court having criminal jurisdiction, in its discretion, and
shall lose their office. And the County Commissioners shall
appoint some person to fill the vacancy occurring thereby
until the next ensuing election for road commissioners.
119. It shall be the duty of the supervisor, in preparing any

CHAPTER 183.
AN ACT to repeal and re enact Section 27 of Article 56 of
the Code of Public General Laws, title " Licenses," sub-title
" Hawkers and Peddlers," so far as the same applies to Prince
George's County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 27 of Article 56 of the Code of Public

county,) title " Licenses." subtitle "Hawkers and Peddlers,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows :
27. No hawker or peddler shall buy for sale out of the State,
or buy to trade, barter or sell, or offer to trade, barter or sell
