District No. 4, in said allotment, hereafter to be made. And
the Supervisors of Elections of Somerset county are hereby
authorized and required to appoint officers of registration as
in other districts for said new district; to famish new books
of registration for the use of the said officers, and to make
all necessary rules and regulations for the transcribing of the
names of qualified voters residing in the territory of said new
district from the registration books formerly in use therein to
the said new books of registration, and may require the various
officers of registration in the several districts whose territory
is included in the new district to meet for that purpose prior
to the beginning of the first registration, in which case said
officers shall be entitled to be paid for their services.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 161.
AN ACT giving the consent of the State of Maryland to the
extension, by the United States or the District of Columbia,
of the system of water works and sewerage of the said
District of Columbia into or through the town of Takoma
Park, Maryland, or any part thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the consent of the State of Maryland be and the
same is hereby given to the extension, by the United States or
