270 FFFFF. The officer to whom ballots have been returned

under the provisions of this Article, and who has the custodv
thereof, shall produce any such ballots in regard to which testi-
mony may be proposed to be taken before said Court in a con-
tested election, and shall furnish said Conrt copies of the same
in pursuance of the terms and conditions of its order and sub-
ject to its restrictions ; and said officer shall retain such ballots
in possession and custody until such ballots shall be required
by the order of said Court to be delivered to said Court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 3.
AN ACT to sanction the bequest of two hundred shares of
stock in the Baltimore and Reisterstown Turnpike Company,
to the Trustees of the Taneytown Presbyterian Church of
Taneytown, Carroll County, Maryland, by John K. Long-
well, late of Carroll county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General

declared to the bequest of John K. Longwell, late of Carroll
county, of two hundred shares of stock in the Baltimore and
Reisterstown Turnpike Company, to the Trustees of the Taney-
town Presbyterian Church of Taneytown, Carroll county,
Maryland, a body corporate.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 4.
AN ACT to divide Election District number seven of Garrett
County into two Election Districts, to be known as districts
number seven and fourteen, respectively.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That election district number seven of Garrett
county be and the same is hereby divided into election dis-
tricts, to be known respectively as district number seven and
district number fourteen of Garrett county.
