LLOYD LOWNDES, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

tied an Act to vest in the members of the German Reformed
Church an estate in fee simple in a lot of ground in Monocacy
Manor, in Frederick county, is hereby given, granted, released,
and confirmed unto "The Glade Church," the present corpo-
rate name of said members of the German Reformed Church,
and all restrictions, limitations and conditions in said Act
upon the right and control, use or non-use of said five acres,
by the duly constituted authorities of said church, are hereby
repealed, and said five acres of ground shall hereafter be sub-
ject to the absolute control of the said "The Glade Church,"
according to the constitution and rules of government of said
church, without restriction, limitation or condition.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the sanction of this

General Assembly is hereby given to "The Glade Church," a
religious body corporate, to hold and enjoy a lot or lots of
grounds in the village of Walkersville, in Frederick county,
containing in the aggregate not more than two acres of land,
for church and parsonage purposes, in addition to the five
acres mentioned in the preceding section.

Sanction,
given.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved March 29, 1898.

CHAPTER 102.
AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General Assembly of
Maryland to certain gifts and bequests to " The Redemp-
torists," a body corporate.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction of the General Assembly of Mary-
land be and the same is hereby declared, given and granted to
the following gifts and bequests to " Redemptorists," a body
corporate.

First. To the bequest of three hundred dollars contained in
the will of Benhardt Kratz, said will being dated September 29,
1896, and recorded in the office of the Register of Wills for
Baltimore City, in Liber T. W. M. No. 78, folio 164, &c.
Second. To the bequest of fifteen hundred dollars contained
in the will of Margaretha Richter, said will being dated Sep-
tember 19, 1893, and recorded in the office of the Register of
Wills for Baltimore City, in Liber T. W. M. No. 77, folio
176, &c.
