CHAPTER 66.
AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Prince
George's to levy a sum of money for the building of a school
house for white children in the eleventh district at or near
Cedarville, in Prince George's county, also three for colored
children in Prince George's, one in the fourteenth district,
at or near Glendale, one in the fifth district in the section of
Accokeek, and one in the thirteenth election district in the
section of Brightseat.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's
county be and they are hereby empowered to levy for the build-
ing of a school for white children in Cedarville section, the
eleventh district of Prince George's county.

Levy a tax,

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Prince George s
County be and they are hereby empowered to levy for the

 

building of three school houses for colored children in Prince
George's county, one in the fourteenth district in the section of
Glendale, and one in the fifth district in the section of Acco-
keek, and one on or near the Sheriff or New-Cut road about
one mile and a quarter west of Brightseat in the thirteenth
election district, such a sum of money as, in the opinion of
said Commissioners, may be sufficient for the purpose herein
specified.

Levy a tax.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 67.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Allegany
County to issue bonds for buying sites and building school
houses therein in Allegany County, and to levy a tax for
the payment of the same.


Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Allegany county be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in their dis-
cretion, to issue bonds to an amount not exceeding fifty thou-
sand dollars, in sums not less than one hundred nor more than
one thousand dollars each, to be signed by the president of the
board of said County Commissioners, and countersigned by
