CHAPTER 65.
AN ACT to provide for a general index for Executors'
accounts and Administrators' accounts, and Inventories, in the
office of the Register of Wills of Prince George's County,
Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Register of Wills of Prince George's

county, Richard N. Ryan, shall make a general index of all
executors' and administrators' accounts, and all inventories
now of record in said office, in suitable index books for that
purpose to be furnished him, by the County Commissioners of
Prince George's county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That whenever said indexes
are fully made and completed, the said Richard N. Ryan
shall submit the same for examination and inspection to the

judges of the Orphans' Court of Prince George's county, and
if they shall find that the said work has been faithfully and
properly done, they'shall give to the said Richard N. Ryan,
a certificate to that effect, and upon presentation of his account
for said work, verified by his affidavit, together with the certifi-
cate of the judges of the Orphans' Court aforesaid, to the
County Commissioners of Prince George's county, they shall
at their next levy-laying term thereafter, levy an amount suffi-
cient to pay said account.

compensa-
tion.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said Richard N.
Ryan, Register of Wills of. Prince George's county, shall be
entitled to receive as compensation for said indexing of said
executors' and administrators' accounts and inventories, herein-
before provided for, the sum of five cents for each name so
indexed by him, as said sum is now fixed by law, for such
indexing.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
