CHAPTER 56.
AN ACT to refund to J. Harry Radcliffe, late Collector of
State Taxes for Second District of Talbot County, a certain
sum of money erroneously paid by him into the State
Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is

hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer in favor of J. Harry Radcliffe, late collector of State
taxes for second district of Talbot county, for the sum of nineteen
dollars and one cent, being the amount overpaid by the said J.
Harry Radcliffe into the treasury, as collector aforesaid, for
the year 1895, as certified by the Comptroller and Treasurer,
the refunding thereof having received the recommendation of
said officers.

AN ACT to refund to the National Bank of Commerce of
Baltimore a certain amount of State tax paid in error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the treasury be and is hereby

requested and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer
to pay to the National Bank of Commerce of Baltimore the
sum of sixty-nine dollars and eighty-three cents, being the
amount of over-payment of State taxes paid in error by said
bank, June 4, 1896.
