CHAPTER 52.
AN ACT to add a new section to Chapter 517 of the Acts of
1884, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Mercantile Trust
and Deposit Company of Baltimore," to follow Section 9 of
said chapter, and to be designated as Section 9 A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby
added to chapter 517 of the Acts of 1884, entitled "An Act
to incorporate the Mercantile Trust and Deposit Company of
Baltimore," to follow section 9 of said chapter, to be desig-
nated as section 9 A, and to read as follows :
9 A. Any and every court, in which moneys maybe paid,

lodged or deposited by agreement of parties, or by order, judg-
ment or decree of such court, may order or direct the same to be
deposited with the said company, and when such deposits shall
have been made, the same, like all moneys deposited with said
company by individuals or corporations, shall be at all times
subject to withdrawal by the check or order of the persons
entitled and duly authorized to withdraw the same.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 53.
AN ACT to pay Isaac M. Fisher, late Collector of State Taxes
for Frederick County, for the years 1890 and 1891, a sum of
money for State taxes, paid by him into the Treasury erro-
neously.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant of the Comptroller,
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay Isaac M.
Fisher, late collector of State taxes for Frederick county, for the
years eighteen hundred and ninety and eighteen hundred and
ninety-one, the sum of two hundred and thirty-five dollars and
forty-two cents, the same having been erroneously paid by him
into the treasury and certified as insolvent, removals and erro-
neous assessment, and its repayment being recommended by
the Comptroller and the Treasurer.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
